Aircraft in the "GeeShap" Livery
Ilyushin IL-2 "Sturmovik"
As far as we are aware, there was no regiment with the designation 69th GShAP during the GPW, so we obviously can't tell what they would have flown. However, the vast majority of Ground Assault Aviation Regiments (ShAP - Shturmovoy Aviatsionnyy Polk) would have flown the Ilyushin IL-2 Sturmovik, and so, this is the main aircraft of the GeeShap.
We have 2 skins for the IL-2: one for the earlier models up to the IL-2 Field Mod which is the White Tail scheme shown on the left above; and for all subsequent models of the aircraft from the IL-2M (early) onwards, we have the all over black colour scheme as shown on the right above. Both of these are non personalised skins created by AKULA and can be used on all models of the IL-2 currently available in the game.
Beaufighter Mk.21 This skin was created by Pingu and is a non-personalised skin made specially for the Regiment, and it's a pretty nice skin!! The Beaufighter can certainly pack a punch in the ground attack and anti-shipping roles, and is certainly a favourite with many of our bomber pilots.

North American B-25J-1NA "Mitchell" Here is the B-25J "Mitchell" in GeeShap colours. This skin is a non personalized skin which was kindly done for the squad by Snake. The skin will fit over all models of the B-25 in the game, but only the "J" model is currently flyable. There is a version of this skin, modified by TOOZ, which allows noseart to be displayed without clashing with the decals on this skin. (See the noseart section for details)

Douglas A-20G "Havoc" Another skin which was done for the squad by Snake, this is a really nice non personalised skin. This aircraft is flown often in Forgotten Skies, and it is nice to fly with these colours showing!! There is a version of this skin which was modified by TOOZ so that noseart could be displayed without clashing with the decals on this skin. (See the noseart section for details)

Tupolev TB-3-4M-17 This aircraft is the "Big Mamma" of the game. It may be slow, and you may freeze yer bollocks off in the open pit, but it's a lovely aircraft, and of course, it has been decked out in GeeShap colours. This is a non personalized skin created by MYATA and is made for the 4M-17 version only. (A skin for the TB-3-4M-34R/SPB will follow soon)

Polikarpov I-16 "Ishak" This skin for the Ishak was made due to the ability to use the I-16 and TB-3 to create the "Sveno". The TB-3-4M-34R and the I-16 Type 24 are used to create this combination and so it was deemed appropriate for the Ishak to have a GeeShap skin as well as the normal GeeYap skin. This is a non personalised skin created by TOOZ with Jutocsa's template which can be used on all variants of the aircraft in the game. |

Polikarpov I-153 "Chaika" Here we have the Chaika once more, this time painted in GeeShap colours. Before the IL-2 was produced, and available in large numbers, many of the short range ground assault missions were carried out by these plucky liitle fighters, and they are heavily used in early war scenarios by the GeeShap in the game. This is a non personalised skin created by TOOZ which fits both variants of the Chaika in the game. (This is a WIP skin)
