![]() =69.GIAP=RATNIK Ratnik was born under a starry sky on 9 May 1922 in a tiny village, tucked away in the Siberian wilderness. As a young boy, Ratnik received an education from the local nunnery, but he did not enjoy this much. The nuns were extremely conservative, did not believe in shaving any hair and discouraged any interest in new technology. Because men are extremely scarse in Siberia, Ratnik also received a very comprehensive sexual education from an early age. Now some of the nuns were very beautiful, but some were of the old, haggard and bearded variety. Even to this day, Ratnik’s taste in women know no bounds.
Because food was so sparse, Ratnik was weened from his mother at the age of 13 only, and only because his parents were put to death by the townsfolk.
See, there were many orphans who also received schooling at the nunnery, and they did not get along with Ratnik. There would be frequent schoolyard fights, but Ratnik would usually come out best even against large numbers of orphans, especially after a hearty liquid breakfast. Thus he was christened “Warrior” by the orphans. The other orphans started complaining that Ratnik had an advantage over them, because of the extra nourishment and support from his parents. As a result of this, in a display of extreme communism, only rarely found in some of the outer reaches of the soviet empire, all the parents of the town were put to death so that all children would have equal opportunity.
That very night, the nunnery and orphanage was levelled in a gas explosion. Ratnik was on the run, but was apprehended soon, disguised in Russian officer’s uniform he stole off of a washing line.
The military court needed to rapidly swell the ranks, and ordered that for too long, Ratnik had suckled from the breast of Mother Russia, and that now, he had to repay his dept as a soldier in the VVS.
Starshiy Leytenant Stenka came to hear of this young man, who had a dream of flying, a love for the night sky, a taste for joining a fight even when outnumbered and a disturbing delight for causing explosions, and the =69.GIAP=SHAPPERS became Ratniks new home. |
