LEV's Story:

Lev was raised by an average family in Russia, but his father forced him to join the army to defend mother Russia. When Germany invaded Russia Lev joined the army as a basic infantry.

In the first battle Lev was assigned to defend a strategic point with his comrades. But it did not go very well, and his whole platoon was wiped out.

After that he joined a motorized company. His squad leader told him to drive a Universal Carrier and scout the enemy position with 2 other squad members.

Lev drove the Universal Carrier and accidentally crashed into another T-34-85 and killed the 2 squad members.

Lev found out that he was no good at driving things and joined the 1st Guards Tank Army which later fought in Kursk. Lev was the loader and his tank was knocked out by an enemy tiger. Fortunately he survived and crawled out of the tank.

At last, he joined a fighter squadron on 1943, and found out that he is an excellent pilot. On one day he was been chased by an enemy BF-109. Lev's plane was shot several times but Stalj from the 69.Giap flew behind the BF-109 and shot him down. After that sortie, Lev joined the 69.Giap as a fighter pilot.
